I am a Junior Classical Piano Performance Major at Belmont University in Nashville pursuing my undergraduate degree. I have studied under professor Dr. Robert Marler, who is the pianist of the Nashville Symphony, for three years. I have been studying classical piano in total for nearly fourteen years. I have been invited to masterclasses that took place at my university. Only three students get selected out of about thirty piano majors to perform in a master class every year, and I have done two of them in my time at this University. When I was a Freshman, I played “Adiós Nonino” by Piazzolla for George Li. As a Junior, I played “L’île Joyeuse” by Debussy for Joyce Yang. I won second place in the American Protégé International Talent Competition in Spring 2020. The prize is to play at Carnegie Hall in summer 2022.
