At age 10 Asher had his first piano lesson less than four years ago. He started teaching himself piano when the schools were closed in March of 2020 because of covid. He enjoyed it so much that he had his first lesson in September of 2020. He quickly developed a love and dedication to piano. Most recently he played Hungarian Fantasy for piano and orchestra by Franz Liszt. In April of 2024 he received a bronze medal at Sonafest Piano Competition in Bellevue, WA. In March of 2024 he received an honorable mention in the Music Artistry Program (MAPS) of WSMTA in Tacoma, WA and was selected to do an honors recital.
