
Ashley Jisue is an aspiring violinist in her junior year of high school who has been studying the violin for 12 years. Throughout her musical journey, Ashley Jisue has not only been an active soloist but also an avid ensemble player. Currently, Ashley Jisue is the assistant concertmaster of the Punahou Symphony Orchestra, leading 60+ peer musicians. She is also a violinist of the Hawaii Youth Symphony I, the highest youth symphony in her state. Ashley Jisue has also led various chamber music groups as the first violinist, including the Keller String Quartet and the Akinaka String Quartet. As a soloist, Ashley Jisue has won multiple prestigious recognitions for her violin performance, including Third Place from the Yaejin Music Competition, Honorable Mention from the Hawaii State Music Competition, and First Prize & U.S. Senator’s Award from the New York International Music Competition. Ashley Jisue plans to continue her passion in violin through high school and participate in ensemble groups in college.
