
Ashley Gil, a talented young musician currently aged 16, has been immersed in the world of classical music since a tender age. Beginning her journey at just five years old, she embraced the violin with passion and dedication, laying the foundation for her musical prowess. At the age of 13, she took up the viola, which further expanded her repertoire and musical abilities.
Ashley is a first-prize winner in various music competitions including Prima Volta Music Competition, Vivo Music Competition, Opus Music Competition, Charleston International Music Competition, Elizabeth International Music Competition, European Classical Music Competition, New York Victory International Music Competition, London Young Musician International Music Competition and so on.
Presently, Ashley’s dedication to her craft has earned her a coveted spot as the Assistant Principal in the prestigious Mannes Precollege Philharmonic, where she showcases her exceptional talent. She has also been chosen to be a part of the Clara Mannes Scholar Program within the precollege. Notably, she also holds the esteemed position of principal violist in her high school orchestra, exemplifying her leadership and musical excellence. Additionally, Ashley’s commitment to sharing her love for music with others is evident through her volunteer work as a viola tutor, guiding and nurturing younger aspiring musicians.
