
Astghik’s musical journey began at the age of six when she became a student at Lark Musical Society in Glendale, CA. Under the guidance of the esteemed music teacher Svetlana Kazaryan, Astghik honed her piano skills and musicianship to perfection. More than that, she developed a deep love and profound appreciation for classical music that continues to inspire her to this day.
In addition to piano, Astghik expanded her musical horizons at Lark, exploring instruments such as drums and hand chimes. She also nurtured her vocal talents as a member of the Tsiatsan Choir throughout her studies at Lark.
Astghik is a five-time award winner at the Junior Bach Festival (Pasadena branch), organized by the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC). She is also a two-time recipient of the State Honor Award for the Certificate of Merit program by MTAC, further showcasing her outstanding talent and dedication.
