Audrey Tushman

Audrey Tushman, 15, studies piano with Dr. Sandra Hebert at the Rivers School Conservatory. Audrey has won first prize in international competitions including the Cap Ferret Music Open, Sempre Musick Competition, VIVO International Music Competition, Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition, and US International Open Music Competition. In addition, Audrey has been Grand Prix winner of the Music-Fest Rising Talents Competition and a Gold Medalist in the Seattle Piano Competition Classical Viennese and Bach Festivals, as well as the Canadian International Music Competition. Audrey was a Silver Medalist in the World Piano Teachers Association of Finland International Piano Competition, Seattle Piano Competition Virtuoso Artists Festival, and the Northern Lights Piano Festival, and won second prize in the Cremona International Competition for Piano, the International Music Organization New York Solo Concert Competition, US New Star Competition, Lugano International Music Competition, and Città di Massa International Competition for Young Musicians. In 2020, Audrey premiered a piece written for her by award-winning composer Whitman Brown, called “Scenes from a Day,” at the Rivers Seminar on Contemporary Music for the Young. As a top prize winner in the American Virtuoso International Music Competition, Audrey will perform for the second time in Carnegie Hall in January 2024. For five summers, Audrey has attended the Cremona International Music Academy, performing in chamber music groups, piano duos, master classes and concerts in historic venues such as Auditorium Giovanni Arvedi. In 2021, she performed on Elton John’s red piano in Royal Albert Hall in London.
