I have been playing piano since I was around four years old. Over the years I’ve enjoyed preforming in a multitude of venues and events. I performed in concerts as a lead pianist for my school as a member of my chamber class. In that class, I learned to play solo but also how to accompany other instruments, such as flute and vocalists. Most often, I perform in many collegiate-level classical piano competitions, from local to state level. For many years I have been trained in classical music, however, I have recently expanded my repertoire into jazz piano and improvisation through my IB Music class. Having deeper knowledge of many different styles of piano has helped improve my playing and has added a depth of character to it. The culmination of these styles has made performing and playing piano a life long passion of mine.
