Azelle Kim is a Sophomore at The Wheatley School with a passion for both music and oboe. She originally started her musical journey by learning piano and violin at the age of two but moved on to oboe at the age of ten. She has participated in The Children’s Orchestral Society and Pace Music Institute of Nassau Ensemble. She is currently part of The Wheatley School’s Concert Band and the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra . She has won the first place in the 10th New York International Competition, third place in the Music Teachers National Association National Competition, and she was the winner of MYO Concerto and Vocal Competition.
