Ben Mandigo is a 14 year old cellist from New York City. He attends 8th grade at Horace Mann and attends the Advanced Music Program at School for Strings. He has been studying cello with Alex Croxton for 10 years. Ben has attended Luzerne Summer Music Festival, Kaufman Strings Fest, Greenwood Summer Camp, and Heifetz Institute Summer Program. He has played principal cellist in the Luzerne Summer Music Festival Orchestra and was the featured soloist for Pirates of the Carribean. He has also played principal cellist at Greenwood Summer Camp. Ben lives with younger brother and sister and his parents in Manhattan and enjoys playing soccer, skiing, rowing crew, and running.
