Bennett Charles Larsen

Bennett, age 16, is a dedicated and passionate musician. He started playing piano at age 7 and was self-taught for three years before beginning formal lessons with Karoun Arslanian. He has been studying under Dr. Esther Ahn at Weber State University since July of 2023. Bennett has placed in the following competitions: UMTA Concerto Competition, American Mountain West International Piano Competition, Ogden Piano Festival, Weber State University Piano Festival, Salt Lake Piano Competition, and MTNA Piano Performance Competition. He has performed publicly with Onstage Ogden, including events at senior homes, local recitals, and holiday events. Bennett was a featured artist in the Blooming Artists Concert in Ogden. Most recently, he obtained a gold medal at the San Francisco International Piano Competition, and he was a member of the student jury for the prestigious Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano Competition. Bennett continues to push himself and his artistry as far as possible, in as many ways as possible.
