Blake Baek (16 years old) is an upcoming junior in the fall at University High School in CA, USA. He started playing the cello in fourth grade and is currently a member of the UHS Symphony Orchestra.
Blake has achieved success in several competitions, including the OPUS Music Competition, the Elite Music Competition, and the Charleston International Music Competition. Furthermore, he participated in a duo performance with his twin brother in the Quebec Music Competition. He is currently studying under the guidance of Dr. Jiyoung Um, a graduate of The Juilliard School.
Apart from his dedication to playing the cello, Blake is also passionate about practicing Taekwondo and competing in tennis.
