I started playing violin when I was ten years old. Even though I felt that my peers were more advanced players, I was motivated to put a lot of effort into practicing every day. Looking back, my hard word has definitely paid off: I’ve performed as concertmaster of the SEMMEA Senior Districts Festival orchestra and the SEMSBA Senior Festival orchestra, as third chair of the Mass-MEA All-State orchestra, and as a top player in BYS, the premier ensemble of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras. Through my journey, I’ve met so many incredible musicians, made great friends, and played substantial pieces like Mahler and Dvorak. I hope to continue sharing wonderful music alongside peers.
