My name is Cairo Ortiz. For the longest time I only read music at a low level, until I learned to compose. I was good at composing, and it gave me joy for all music; I got better at sheet reading, and ear training. Composing my own original songs gave me a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
I began learning the piano at age 5; now with 8 years of dedication to the piano, I’ve found joy and expression through music.
