Cameron is 12 years old and lives in Irvine, California. He started learning to play the piano at 5 years old. At age 7, he participated in his first Southwestern Youth Music Festival, qualified category, and won 3rd place. At age 10, he placed 2nd in the Satori Summer Music Festival, qualified category, and also placed 2nd in the Pelican International Music Competition. At 11 years old, he joined the Junior Chamber Music program, Orange County branch, performing a Beethoven Sonata as a duo with a violinist. That same year he also placed 1st in the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, qualified category. This past year at age 12, he placed 1st in the Global Music Arts Competition (20th Century Era competition). This past month he won 2nd place at SYMF in the open category, and won 3rd place in the open category and 1st place in the qualified category at the Satori Summer Music Festival. He has completed 7 years of the Certificate of Merit by the Music Teachers Association of California, passing with state honors each year.
In his free time, Cameron plays on a basketball club team and enjoys reading and playing video games.
