Carrera Stamile

Carrera Stamile is 15 years old and a serious classical musician. She was born into a family always listing to classical music. Carrera started playing violin at age 3 and continued for 8 years. When she was 11, she switched to mandolin due to a medical issue irritated by bowing. Carrera loves to play Bach, and it is her goal to learn all of the Six Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin. At the moment Carrera has learned the complete Sonata No. 1 in G minor, Partita No. 2 in D minor, Partita No. 3 in E Major, and most of the Sonata No. 2 in A minor. She has performed two solo concerts, and participated in multiple ensemble groups. In the future, Carrera would like to play Classical Mandolin professionally, performing and recording albums. She loves Baroque music, with Bach being one of her favorite composers. In her spare time, Carrera loves to draw, crochet, read, and play with her cat Frodo.
