Cathy (Yifan) Zhang was born in 2016 in the United States. Currently a second-grade student at an elementary school in Virginia, Cathy embarked on her piano journey at the age of six. Her remarkable achievements within this short timeframe stem from her unwavering diligence, passion for music, and captivating performances. Cathy was awarded the FIRST PRIZE in the 2023 International Music Competition “Bonn” Grand Prize Virtuoso. Additionally, she secured the Second Prize at the London Classical Music Competition 2023 (LCMC 2023) and First Place in the Richmond Music Teachers Association (RMTA) Bach Competition 2023. Beyond her musical pursuits, Cathy finds joy in drawing and swimming.
