
Cehuai Zhang is a saxophonist and saxophone educator. Cehuai received his DMA in saxophone performance with a related field in performing arts health from the University of North Texas in 2023. He finished his Bachelor of Arts degree in saxophone pedagogy at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music, China, and his Master of Music degree in saxophone performance from the University of Northern Iowa. He has performed at various national and international conferences, such as the North America Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference, the Asia Saxophone Congress, and UNT Alumni Day. During his time at UNT, Cehuai served as a saxophone teaching fellow for three years and conducted several research studies focusing on the physical and psychosocial medical problems of saxophonists. Cehuai is currently a saxophone teacher who provides private lessons throughout the DFW area.
