Chang Lu

My name is Chang Lu, I learned piano when I was 4 years old. I am learning with Sara Daneshpour now in Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. I also learned with Ran Dank for 2 year (also in Cincinnati Conservatory of Music) before learning with Sara Daneshpour.
I went to many great festivals such as Amalfi Coast Music and Art Festival, Artical International Music Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and Gijon International Piano Festival. I also had lessons or master classes with many fantastic pianists and musicians such as Boris Berman, John Perry, Jerome Lowenthal, Henry Kramer, Jose Ramon Mendez, James Giles, Soyeon Kate Lee, Youshikazu Nagai, Ning An, Alan Chow, Vassilis Varvaresos and so on.
I won many competitions in the past few years, as I just won the first prize in the UG competition at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music this year, I also won the third prize in the Nancy Walker Scholarship Competition in February 2024. Before 2024, I also won the third prize in the UG competition at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in 2022; second prize in the Conero International Piano Competition in 2020; second prize in the first SAE National Youth Piano Competition in 2019; second Prize in the GOCAA International Piano Competition in 2018 and so on.
I played two incredible concertos in the past one year, which is Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No.2 in C minor, Op.18 and Beethoven Piano Concerto No.4 in G Major.
