Channing Christian began playing the piano in 2015 when she was 5 at Bajon Studios in Grayslake, Illinois. Ms. Bajon helped her learn good practice habits and technique, always reminding her, “Super curved fingers, Channing!” In 2020, Channing moved from Illinois to San Antonio because of her Dad’s work and that is where she met Dr. Antonia Daskalova. Dr. Antonia has been a big inspiration to Channing and has taught her how to challenge herself, improve her technique and most importantly love and appreciate classical music.
Channing currently attends Lopez Middle School and is preparing to audition to attend a performing arts school where she can continue to grow as a pianist. Her other hobby is playing goalkeeper for her soccer club, Classics Elite.
