Chia Min Cher

Chia Min Cher is a multiple gold and first prize award violinist.  He won first prize in United States in 2019, and clinched six champion prize awards from 2017 to 2021 in Singapore, Italy, France and Slovenia, plus gold awards in major competitions in Singapore.  He is also an active orchestral violinist for 6 years.  He has performed extensively in major concert halls like Carnegie Hall, Golden Hall of Musikverein, Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Esplanade Concert Hall of Singapore. 

Min Cher’s latest solo was with TwoSetViolin for Antonio Vivaldi’s L’estro armonico, Opus 3, Concerto No. 10, in February 2021.  In 2020, he performed Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Final Movement, conducted by Maestro Kahchun Wong, in “Beethoven 360°– Ode to Joy”.  This was presented by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and reported in Singapore’s primary newspapers and their Facebook and Youtube channels.
