Chloe Choi is a 10th grader currently attending Richard Montgomery High School. Playing the viola has led her to many great opportunities, including (but not limited to): performing at nursing homes, joining her school orchestra, playing at recitals, trying to play songs on the radio by ear, and meeting all kinds of new people. Chloe has won the first place award at both the Maryland State Music Teachers Association (MSMTA)’s Solo Spring Festival and their Bach Competition (which she won twice). She has also been a member of Maryland Classical Youth Orchestra for 7 years and is currently the Principal for viola section. Outside of viola, she also enjoys other creative hobbies such as art, even winning several awards at the 2021 Maryland Scholastic Art & Writing Awards as well as the 2019 New York Time’s Student Editorial Contest.
