Christina Htay is an incoming junior at Mainland Regional High School. Her musical journey began in the fourth grade when she joined her elementary school’s band program and fell in love with the oboe. Christina has successfully auditioned for the All South Jersey Band and held the position of Principal Oboist for the South Jersey Wind Ensemble Band during the most recent season. In the 2021-2022 school year, Christina was an artist in the Philadelphia Music Alliance for the Youth (PMAY) Initiative. Additionally, she participated in the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp Oboe Intensive Program in the summer of 2022. Currently, Christina is an active member of the Philadelphia Sinfonia. At Mainland Regional High School, she actively participates in the Tri-M Music Honors Society and is a member of the Wind Ensemble
