Claire Lim is 15-year-old from San Diego, California, and attends Canyon Crest Academy. Claire has been studying piano since she was seven years old. She loves music and is passionate about studying piano with her current teacher Eunice Ahn. Claire has participated in numerous regional and state-level competitions. She has won multiple awards, including the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) San Diego branch Sonata competition (first place in 2019, 2022, 2023 finalist in 2018), first place in the Northern San Diego County Sonata/Sonatina Festival (2022), gold medal in the final round of Southern California Junior Bach Festival (2021), first place in Satori Summer Music Festival (2021), gold medal in CAPMT San Diego North Chapter (2021, 2023), and 2nd place winner of the American Protege International Piano and Strings competition (2023). In her free time, she enjoys photography and writing stories.
