Cole Bellorgey is 12 years old and a student at George Washington Middle School in Ridgewood, NJ. He saw his first Broadway show at the age of seven and immediately began asking if he could be on the stage himself. However, he only began voice lessons two years ago. He was recently awarded first place for his age group in the vocal category of the 2024 Prima Volta Music Competition and got to perform in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. In the past six months he has performed as Bruce in Yorktown Stage’s production of “Matilda”; the beast in Broadway Workshop’s Spring performance of “Beauty & the Beast Jr.”; a featured munchkin in Bergen Performing Arts Center’s production of “The Wizard of Oz” and in multiple roles in Wingspan Conservatory’s production of “Freaky Friday”. Upcoming productions include Random Farms Kids Theater’s “#JustBeYou” and Summit Playhouse’s fall production of “The Music Man”.
