Collin Noah Gee

Collin Noah Gee is 15 years old, and is a sophomore at Arcadia High School. He started piano when he was 4 and has been playing cello since he was 7 years old. In 2021, he entered the Satori Music Festival won first place for both the Concerto and Baroque categories and was ultimately awarded the Satori Grand Prize. Collin has participated in many orchestras including the Los Angeles Children’s Orchestra, Young Artists Orchestra of Los Angeles, Glendale Youth Orchestra, Colburn Sinfonietta, and most recently became principal cellist of the Colburn Chamber Orchestra. In the fall of 2023, Collin was selected to be in the Colburn Honors Chamber Music Program. He and his piano trio had the privilege of taking a master class with Jean Yves Thibaudet, Lisa Batiashvili, and Gautier Capuçon. They also won first place runner-up for the MTAC VOCE competition. Beyond pursuing his musical journey, Collin shares his gift by being a member of the Back to Bach Project and donating some of his savings to music programs for underprivileged kids. Collin is a member of the Arcadia High School Speech and Debate Team, enjoys reading, badminton, and boba.
