Cristian has started playing piano at the age of 5. Since then he has been constantly worked to improve both his playing skills and his knowledge of music theory.
Besides piano, he has been involved in a variety of musical projects. In elementary school he spent a year learning the baritone, and playing in the school band. In middle school he played the cello in the school’s orchestra, and had a leading role in the school production of the musical “James and the Giant Peach”.
Outside of school he is part of a recorder ensemble, giving performances at various community events (including playing the national anthem before a basketball game of the South Bay Lakers).
Cristian has been selected as a Fourth Prize winner based on his performance for Charleston’s 2024 Romantic Music Competition.
