Dae Jung Martins Cruz

I’m Dae Jung Martins Cruz, I’m from Brazil, Sao Luis, and started to play piano at the age of 11 years old where Brazillian music truly inspired me to start practicing piano. Moving to the U.S, Newark New Jersey, in 2014, I participated in NJPAC in Jazz for Teens Program and Newark School of the Arts. I studied at Arts High School and played for the Arts High Jazz band for four years with Lawrence Liggins as director of the program. I focus more on classical music, but I absolutely love performing classical Brasilian pieces and I want to further expand my repertoire on it. I also did concerts for the Newark School of the Arts, and I look forward to performing future concerts.
