Dahoon Lee is a 8th-grade student at Rock Hill Middle School in Maryland. He has been playing violin since he was 7 years old. He is a passionate violinist contributing at his school, local orchestras, churches, and senior homes. He is currently a member of Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra(MCYO)and he’s been enjoying being a member of MCYO for 5 years. He participated in numerous competitions and won prizes in the Maryland State Music Teachers Association 2023 Solo String Competition. He won the 2023 European Autumn Music Competition, the 2023 Charleston International Music Competition, the 2023 Romantic Music Competition, the 2023 European Winter Music Competition, and the MLA Music Legend Award. He also won a Gold prize in the Grand Prix 2023 of the European Classical Music Awards, the 2024 International Music Competition Great Composers Competition, the 2024 International Youth Music Competition, the Vivaldi International Music Competition, and the 2025 International Music Competition Great Composers Competition Mediterranean Europe Music. He has joined the Young Musicians Inspiring Change (YMIC) and enjoys sharing his passion for music to bring joy and unity across diverse communities.
