Damian Galasso

I started playing the piano at the age of 7. I have been studying piano with Dr. Ji-Young Kim for 8 years. I won first place at both the Civic Orchestra of Tucson and the Tucson Symphony Orchestra concerto competitions. I also placed in the 2018 Steinway Avanti Piano competition (senior division). In 2017, I placed first in the Arizona Musicfest Piano Competition (Division II). I performed twice at the Music Instrument Museum in Scottsdale, Arizona. I also play the piano at nursing homes. I have taken master classes with Baruch Meir, Behzod Abduraimov, Conrad Tao, and the late Robert D. Vandall. I love piano and enjoy learning challenging pieces.
