Hello! My name is Daniel Hon, and I have been playing the piano competitively since I was six years old. Some of my musical accomplishments include receiving first place in the American Protege International Music Talent Competition, gold and silver medals in the romantic and 16-18 age categories in the Global Genius Music Competition, first place in my region’s annual Baroque Festival, and six first places in my branch’s annual Baroque Bach Festival. Additionally, I frequently perform at monthly recitals at my music school. Besides playing the piano, I play the guitar and sing for my youth congregation at my local church, leading about 100+ youth members monthly. Music has always played an integral role in my life, and I view it as a way of destressing and gaining relaxation.
