Daniel Kim is 11 years old. He began playing the cello at the age of 9 and studies with Mr. Dahwi Kim at the Beverly Hills Music School.
He has performed at zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall in 2024 St. James’ Episcopal school 55 anniversary music concert with St. James’ orchestra.
He won first prize at the 2023 Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and first prize at the 2024 International Association of Professional Music Teachers, Grand International Spring Competitions.
