
Daniel Kim, a 17-year-old senior at Bellarmine College Preparatory, lives in Palo Alto, CA. He began playing the cello at the age of seven and for the past decade has studied with Nancy Kim. Throughout his musical career, Daniel has achieved success as an orchestral musician and soloist. He served as the principal cellist for the California All State Symphony Orchestra, Hopebox Charity Youth Orchestra, and Bellarmine Chamber Orchestra, and finished second in both the US International Music Competition and Silicon Valley Music Competition. Aside from playing the cello, Daniel enjoys playing video games, sports, and listening to Epik High.
