Daniela Pepe is a freshman at Florida Gulf Coast University majoring in Voice Performance. She graduated Cum Laude with the class of 2020 and received her diploma from the Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School as a voice major. During her time at Gibbs High School she acted as the president of all the choirs at PCCA and has now joined the board of the Bower School of Music chamber choir as the secretary. Throughout her time at PCCA she was a featured soloist for several concerts including performances of the Faure Requiem and the Vivaldi Gloria. For five straight years she received superiors at the Pinellas County Solo and Ensemble events and placed in multiple competitions across Florida. This past Spring 2021 Semester Daniela performed as Hansel in the Bower School of Music’s rendition of Hansel and Gretel by Engelburt Humperdinck. She enjoys spending her free time making music with her friends, sewing, and gardening with her family. Daniela will be attending college to pursue a career in opera and hopes to create an environment within classical music that is more encouraging and welcoming of BIPOC individuals as audience members and musicians.
