Danielle Yewon Lee

Danielle Lee, who is 14 years old, began playing piano at the age of six with Mrs. Hsui-Hui Peng Chen in Michigan. In 2017, she received a special plaque award by memorizing 15 pieces of the early Bach repertoires program audition sponsored by the American College of Music (ACM). She is also a recipient of a special plaque award in 2018 for successfully memorizing 15 movements of the Sonatina audition sponsored by the ACM as well. In 2018, Danielle won second place in the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition where she performed in Brussels, Belgium. She received the Honorable mention in the junior category for the 2020 American Protégé Piano and Strings Competition, and was a third place winner in 2021. Furthermore, she has received 2nd place for the “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition in 2022, and is a 1st place winner this year in 2023. Besides piano, Danielle really enjoys playing the violin, as well as other instruments as a hobby.
