David Zhao is a trumpet player that specializes in classical music. Born on January 23, 2007, he has been exposed to classical music from an early age by his 2 older sisters who both excelled as orchestral musicians. Following in their footsteps, he began his musical journey at age 7 by playing the piano and a year later the trumpet. He now attends the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts where he plays in the orchestra and big band while participating in a Colburn brass quintet.
