Dingyu Ji is a Grade 10 student at Monte Vista High School. Inspired by her teacher, Qing Zhang, at the age of four and a half, she began to learn the piano and has been studying ever since. She loved the piano and showed some talent as a child. She has participated in the Nice Piano Competition in France and the Xinghai Cup, as well as China’s Star Torch national competition, where she won the gold medal. She passed Grade 10 in 2015. Now, she is taking classes with Yingwen Lewis and hopes to learn for a better future while developing her interests.
