Dylan Antonio Perez

Hello! I am Dylan Perez, a pianist, and cellist. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am 12 years old, have been playing and performing since I was 4, and have many goals for myself as a musician. Currently, I take private piano instruction from Dr. Allyson Eskitch at the bART Center for Music, and private cello instruction at the University of Tulsa with Professor Diane Bucchianeri. I’m entering my third season with the advanced level of the Tulsa Youth Symphony Orchestra. I was honored to be featured in Tulsa Kids magazine this past November 2021. I lived on Hilton Head Island, SC for three years and was a featured performing artist in the Island’s opening ceremony for the Crescendo festival two years in a row, 2018 and 2019. This included being featured in the corresponding publications and video promotion productions. And it was a privilege to perform at the Boys and Girls Club of America’s Black-Tie Gala on Hilton Head Island in 2019. I have received several achievement awards through the Savannah Youth Orchestra (2018) and am currently working toward the distinguished Concerto Competition collaboration with the Tulsa Youth Symphony and Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. I was also chosen to attend a cello choir workshop event in 2017 with Zuill Bailey as the instructor, in Greenville, SC. I have attended the Annie Moses Conservatory Woodsheds for several years in Nashville, TN, where I’ve received individual instruction in cello, piano, and performance. In 2020 I was a recipient of the Rotary Club Tulsa’s Crescendo music awards program. My goal is to achieve substantial development in my art through excellent instruction and technical guidance, both with classical solo repertoire and orchestra opportunities. My passion for piano, cello, music, and the arts is something I want to always share with others and continue to grow in diverse ways. I am proud of my Hispanic heritage (Dominican and Paraguayan) and am determined to expand the arts in these countries as well in the future. Thank you so much for your consideration.
