Edgar Abraham Ekshian

Growing up in a family consisting of artists and musicians, my passion for music was ignited at an early age. I began taking private piano lessons at the age of 8 and carried that on through middle school, high school and even college. During my time in high school, I decided to join a music competition in Canada called the Red Maple Music Competition which was conducted online. I received High Honor and Honorable Mention award for my performance of armenian folk music composed by Arno Babajanian. Earlier this year, I received my level 10 Musical Performance and Music Theory Certification from the Music Teacher’s Association of California. My dream is to carry this love for music forward and eventually pursue a career in piano performance.
