Edyta Mydlowska

Originally from Poland, began to play the piano at the age of eight with Prof. Natalia Latysheva and Elena Aleksiejuk. She continued her musical education with Malgorzata Stozynka in Music High School in Gdansk. In 2020 Edyta graduated from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland receiving First Class Bachelor with Honors and Master of Music degrees. During her years in Scotland she have been studying with Jonathan Plowright, Graeme McNaught and Sinea Lee and took part in many piano events, festivals, concerts and masterclasses including: Lukas Geniusas, Roberto Prosseda, Chris Underwood and Roy Howat, collaborating with chamber musicians, singers and being very active in a piano duo collaboration. She attended international festivals and courses including ‘Cremona International Music Academy and Festival’in Italy, International Piano Masterclasses in Katowice, International Piano Msterclasses ‘FERMATA’ in Lublewo (Poland), International Piano Masterclasses for young musicians in Szczecinek, studying with: Dina Joffe, Zbigniew Raubo, Aleksiej Orlowiecki, Aquiles DelleVigne, Salvatore Spano, Andrzej Jasinski, Piotr Paleczny, Wojciech Switala, Irena Kofman and Ewa Poblocka. Her musical career includes awards on national and international piano competitions and the most significant are :

While studying here degree in RCS in Glasgow, Edyta took part in Piano Festivals, Contemporary music Festivals, Chamber music, Multipiano performances, Competitions, Concerta Hall Piano series and Bruton Theatre Piano series during Fringe Festivals. In 2019 Edyta had and honour to perform for HRH Prince Charles during his visit in Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2019.

Edyta performed with ‘Janus Ensemble’ Orchestra conducted by Ben Palmer in Northampton in 2016 on Malcolm Arnold Festival, ZSM Symphony Orchestra in Academy of Music in Gdansk, Baltic Filharmonic Orchestra in Gdansk, ‘Capella Gedanensis’ chamber orchestra in Baltic Philharmonic Hall and RADIO Gdansk and ZSM Silesian Symphony Orchestra in Zabrze. She has recently recorded Scriabin Piano Concerto with Royal Scottish National Orchestra in May 2021. She also appeared in BBC Radio 3, Radio Szczecin and RADIO Wrocław FM.
