Elena’s love for the violin began in 2018 when she first started lessons at age 6 under the care and instruction of Ms. Florela Diana Matusa, and she has performed regularly in group recitals at an early stage.
In 2022, Elena joined the Union Symphony Youth Philharmonic (USYP) in Charlotte, USA, to play in a weekly group setting and performed at regular concerts with USYP. In 2023, she successfully auditioned for First Violin with the Charlotte Symphony Youth Philharmonic (CSYP).
Elena has been actively performing in a competitive setting. She has won the third prize in the Summer 2024 Charleston International Music Competition for solo violin, and in October 2024, she earned an honorary mention in the Salzburg International Music Competition. These results have been extremely encouraging, and she is committed to improving her performing skills in the coming years.
