Elizabeth Kaszycki

Elizabeth is a senior in high school and has been playing the violin for thirteen years. She started when she was five years old and has been playing ever since. She also started the piano at age ten. Elizabeth takes music lessons at The Music Academy in Rockford and studies under Rachel Handlin for violin and Ella Caswell for piano. She currently is the concertmaster for the Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra and has had past experience playing in the Turtle Creek Chamber Orchestra, the Rock Valley Summer Festival Orchestra, and the Lutheran Summer Music Orchestra. In February this year, she was accepted into the Honors Performance Series and got to perform in Carnegie Hall with the Honors Film Music Orchestra as concertmaster. She hopes to continue her music education in college.
