Ellie is a 13 year old flutist who is currently attending the Orange County School of the Arts in California, and is a member of their symphony orchestra and wind ensemble. She received an Honorable Mention for the Junior Soloist Competition and a Masterclass Performer at the National Flute Association in 2025. She was the principal flutist for the California All-State Junior High School Symphonic Band and the All-Southern Group Full Orchestra in 2025. Ellie also won 1st place at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival and the Musical Arts Competition of Orange County. She is a member of the Pacific Symphony Youth Concert Band for the 2024-26 seasons. She is also a member of the Colburn Chamber Group. She has played in masterclasses with Benjamin Smolen, Nora Lee Garcia, and Francisco Barbosa. She currently studies with Dr. Hye Sung Choe.
