Ellin Kwak

Ellin kwak is in 7th grade at Liberty middle school. She had started piano at the age of 6 with Dr. joo. Ellin is a first place winner of the Gertrude S. Brown Memorial Piano concerto competition in 2018 and performed with New England Youth Ensemble of Washington Adventist University. She was also a 1st place winner at YMIC Metropolitan Music Festival in 2017, NVMTA Piano Ensemble Competition in 2017. She has also achieved Honorable Mention at Robert Spencer Concerto Competition 2019, AAMS competition in 2017, 2018, NVMTAconcerto festival in 2017 and 2018. Ellin won several piano ensemble competition including 2018 NVMTA Piano Ensemble Competition, 2018 MSMTA Piano Ensemble festival ,2017 YMIC Metropolitan Music festival. Ellin has performed at carnegie hall in New York as a winner of Golden Key festival, and Washington International Piano Festival Showcase at Catholic University of America, Mansion in Strathmore,2019.On 2019 May, she has performed at Harris Theatre at George Mason University as a winner of NVMTA sonata festival. In 2018, Ellin has also gotten silver medal from National Gospel Music Competition as a collaborative pianist and 3rd place on Washington National Youth Competition in 2018. Honorable Mention winner at AAMS. Also a first place winner at Elite Music Competition. Ellin Kwak is looking forward to perform at Carnegie Hall in May. Ellin has been selected as Honor at Judged Recital. Going onto 2020, Ellin has participated in the Koscuisko Foundation Chopin Competition For Young Pianists, and made it to the finals. Adding on, Ellin was also selected as a 2nd round student in Sonata festival.
