Elliot Slater is 15 years old and is currently attending Springfield High School. He has been playing piano for approximately 6 years, but has accelerated his studies in the past year under the instruction of James Anemone. During this short period, Elliot has made many accomplishments including winning first place (tie) in the 2024 Tri-County Concerts Youth Festival, second-place in the 2023 MTNA Pennsylvania State Competition, first-place in the Little Mozarts International Competition, first-place in the Triumph Music Festival – International Competition, third-place in the Charleston International Music Competition – 2023
International Piano Competition, and more. He has participated in several master classes and performed at several unique venues, such as the Asplundh Concert Hall at West Chester University, the Philadelphia Academy of Music Ballroom, and many more. He also participates in his school’s jazz band/orchestra performances that involve piano. Other musical interests include playing violin with his school orchestra and ensembles, playing electric guitar, and music composition. Aside from music, Elliot has keen interests in the sciences, history, and politics.
