My name is Emily Lee and I am currently in grade eight. Ever since I was younger, I had a passion for music, and I would sing and dance whenever I had a chance. I started to play piano when I was five, and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity. Aside from piano, I do competitive Irish dancing, which I think has helped me excel in my understanding of music and made me a better pianist. During my journey as a pianist, I have attended multiple summer camps as a volunteer and several competitions. I have attended the RCM Festival of Lights Competition (2022), won 2nd place at the Global Sekwang Competition (2023), and received a honourable mention at the 2024 Global Sekwang Competition (2024). I am so grateful that I can express myself using music and the arts, and I can’t wait to see what awaits for me in the future.
