Emma-Grace Kim

Emma-Grace Kim (violin), 11 years old, is from Herndon, Virginia, and attends Navy Elementary school. She has been taking violin lessons with Ko Sugiyama since she was 7.  

In 2019, Emma-Grace was first prize winner of NVMTA Concerto Competition and had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Amadeus Orchestra. More recently, she and her sister were invited to perform on From the Top’s Facebook live concert. Emma-Grace is currently concertmaster of the American Youth String Ensemble. Outside of music, Emma-Grace enjoys riding her bike and spending time with her siblings.
