Emma Juliann Erickson

From a young age, Emma has had a love of music. As a toddler, her nickname was “the angel of music” because she was so passionate about and moved by beautiful melodies. She began piano lessons at the age of 5 and soon began to win many awards. At the age of nine, Emma was a third place winner of the Temecula Valley Symphony Concerto Competition and was invited to perform with the orchestra. She has been a first place winner 3 times of the Steinway Society of Riverside County Festival. She was the first place winner twice of the Inland Empire Piano Festival, and a silver medalist twice of the Southern California Junior Bach Festival. Emma was also a second place winner of the Carnegie Hall American Protege piano competition at the age of 10. She won first place in the New York Debut Young Musician Competition. And she won first place for the Best Liszt Performance in the Great Composers Competition. Emma also loves to compose music and won the silver medal in the Hal Leonard Composition Competition. Currently she is writing chorale music.
