Emma Maria Puscalau

Emma Puscalau is a Canadian soprano born Ontario, Canada. She recently graduated from the Manhattan School of Music Pre- College as a classical voice major where she studied privately under Jane Olian. As part of the opera workshop at Manhattan School she played Cunegonde in scenes from Candide under the direction of David Gordon. She has been named a first place winner in the American Protege Vocal Competition and made her Carnegie Hall Weil Recital Hall debut in April of 2023. Emma has also won the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition which was held in Brussels, Belgium at Le Palais de Beaux Arts where she made her debut in April of 2023. As part of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada she holds 3 diplomas in voice, rudiments and counterpoint and harmony theory studies. For the summer of 2023 Emma will be attending the Brevard Music Center Summer classical voice institute in Brevard, North Carolina.
