Eric Lee was born in California in 2007. He has been playing oboe since the age of twelve and is the principal oboist of both the Harvard-Westlake Chamber Orchestra as well as the Glendale Youth Orchestra. In addition, he is the first place winner of the 2024 Golden Classical Music Awards. He was the principal oboist of 2023 California All-State Concert Band, an oboist in the 2024 California All-State Symphony Orchestra, and attended Tanglewood’s Oboe Workshop in the summer of 2022. He is truly passionate about the oboe and views it as a channel for musical expression for emotions and images which words cannot convey. In the future, he hopes to continue playing the oboe both on and off stage.
