Erica Yamashina Enrile

Erica Enrile was born and raised in Northern California and is currently a freshman at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. Her piano journey began at the age of five under the guidance of Mrs. Ruzanna Faramazyan, an exceptional teacher who has played a pivotal role in her musical development. Erica is an eleven-time prize winner at the U.S. Open Music Competition (USOMC), recognized across multiple categories including Treasury of Romantic Composers, Piano Solo Contemporary, and Treasury of Baroque Composers. Most recently, she earned First Place in the 2025 American Protégé International Piano Competition and performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City in June 2025.

In addition to her musical pursuits, Erica is a competitive épée fencer. She has earned numerous medals and qualified for the Junior Olympics five times. She is now a member of the Brandeis University varsity fencing team, competing as an NCAA athlete.
